Zentangle
My artwork is of a moose next to some pine trees and in front of mountains. The title 0f this art piece is simply, “Moose”. The most obvious things present in this work is the use of lines and pattern to create the moose and background. My artwork is made out of black ink. Starting off in my sketchbook, I sketched three concept designs. The third one appealed to me the most so that's the one I went with for the final project. Moving on to the bigger paper, I sketched out the moose in pencil so he could come out the way I imagined him too. After I sketched the moose, I sketched some of the lines in pencil too but than switched to the pen to speed up the progress. Most of the designs are random doodles. What inspired me to do the moose was the antlers. Moose have big antlers so I thought I could use that to create some cool designs. My art piece doesn't represent any issue. It's just an animal in its habitat. Also I didn't really try to convey any feelings into this piece, because again, it's just an animal. I didn't really have any major goals for this. I guess one could be is that I wanted this to come out somewhat nice. That's about it for goals. My art style has nothing to do with zentangles so there was nothing I was working on in order to improve something. In the end, I'm proud of how it came. It didn't end up at all how I thought it would but I'm still pleased with the end result.
